I began in law-enforcement as a 911 dispatcher in Santa Cruz county. Three years later, I re-located to Southern Oregon where I joined the Josephine County sheriffs department. After four years with the sheriffs office, I excepted a job working for a computer service that provided a network system to the majority of law-enforcement agencies throughout Oregon. I was the sole field representative for 17 agencies in southern Oregon for four years where I worked with district attorney offices, probation departments, jails, juvenile departments, as well as police and sheriffs departments. Do to technological advancements that allowed individual departments to operate independently for their computer needs, the company I worked for disbanded. At that time, I returned to college to complete my degree in political science and criminal justice. I continue to live in southern Oregon with my husband and German Shepherd dog, Schatzi.
